Professor Attoeklev, a prominent Cork Sinn Feiner, had a narrow escape yesterday. Four shots were fired at him, but he was not hurt. Later the ■same night, Constable Murtagh, who was off fluty at the quay side, when suddenly shots rang out, and, Murtagh dropped dead, his body being riddled with bullets.
'Hie authorities rounded up prominent Sinn Feinners at Dyrry tp-day. Mci.toy lorries carried them to the coast, where a destroyer was awaiting and took them to an unknown destination, MAIL robberies., LONDON .March 19.
