Owing to the rain that had fallen the previous day and through the night and early morning, tho green was not as fast I as usual, but it rolled out. well, the visi- * tors expressing themselves as well pleased with the free way the howls firov . Tho visitors went away at the start and soon lmd a substantial lead, the figures at tho tenth head being I’2 t<> - *" their favour. After the tea adjournment the local team did most of the scoring, and the game ended in t]u> defeat of the visitors bv lour points. The phiy "as of an excellent quality, some of the heads being very fine. Afternoon tea was provided hy lady supporters of the Club.
