PEACE TREATY

A press correspondent reporting from tile non-occupied territory in Germany asserts that there is a veritable German conspiracy to annoy the Allies particularly the French, who are regarded as being primarily responsible for demanding the surrender of German war criminals.

It is understood that the Greeks are prepared to undertake the task of dealing with Alustaplia Ivemal’s force ’in Anatolia, which is estimated at forty thousand.
There is a Greek Army at- present in Asia Alinor. It is ready to act, if necessary. It comprises six div : sion s of fifteen thousand men each. Its total bayonet strength is 45,900. H is equipped with 200 guns. I It is stated that Alustaplia Kemal’s force is very scattered, and that 't lias lin it . only a small proportion of the old Turkish regular Army. Afeanwhile the Allies have decided to occupy the Turkish AVar Office, telegraphic and postal buildings, and certain other departments in Constantinople. This would be in order to prevent collaboration between the Turkish authorities and Alustaplia Kemal.
