The ‘Observer,” in an inspired article, says that Mr. Asquith insists that Mr. Lloyd George must resign the Premiership as a condition of his reentry. to -the Liberal fold.
Mr Llloyd George regards Liberalism as broken to pieces by Mr. Asquith’s attitude towards tire Coalition-Liber-als. Therefore Mr. Lloyd George is addressing the Coalition-Liberals on Thursday and will issue a manifesto appealing for the creation of a new party, composed of the moderate elements of Liberals, Unionists, and Labour.

Lloyd George lias decided to end the coalition, and substitute the Unionist Party, including Moderate Liberals, oi which he is leader. It is expected lie will outline his scheme, when lie addresses the Liberals at Downing Street on Thursday. Mr Bonar Law will also sign the manifesto regarding the new Party, which Sir George Younger, the Unionists’ Whip is supporting, but many Unionist organisations in the country object to Lloyd George becoming their leader.
