A Dunedin firm of auctioneers has again been making extensive purchases of cattle in the Haast and Okuru districts ,South Westland. A representative of the firm purchased, about a week ago, 150 head in the paddocks at satisfactory prices to the vendors. The cattle were taken over the Haast Pass without loss.
