POLLARD 5 * PICTURES. MONDAY. On Monday the Broadway Universal feature, '‘The Nature Man,” star-'ng Joseph Knowles will be screened. A few years ago the whole world, was aroused by the accounts published of Joseph Knowles, “The Nature Mai,” who, to settle a , wager went into l aie wilds to prove that mere man, naked and unashamed, could, with his bare hands and his intellect, wrestle a living from nature. Knowles experiences alre an inspiring illustration of the ability of a strong man to survive under the most trying conditions. The Universal Company persuaded him to re-enact many of his experiences thus making a permanent record, of what was a striking and unique achieve, ment. The latest Gazette and comedy and also the film of Hokitika Stale School completes the Bill of Fare fo v Monday night’s display. On Thursday next Pollard’s will screen the pictnie of the year “Daddy Long Legs” stirring Mary Pickford.
