INFLUENZA ON RENOWN. LONDON, March 10. The outbreak of influenza on the Renown occurred among the midshipmen, of whom eleven were sent to the hos- ‘ pital, including ten Australians, pt whom five only joined the ship ten days previously. Probably these' boys wilj miss the trip. Thp previous epidemic of influenza on the Renpwn, in 1918, also started in the gun. room. On that occasion over two hundred were clown at one time. Every precaution is being taken in the event of such a spread now. The whole qf the crew are being 'kept on the upper deck on Sumday in the forenoon while the ship is battened down tp be fumigated by the medica} staff. PRINCE OF WALES, (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, March IQ, It is understood there is good prospects of the Prince of Wales departing on the 13th. In that event, the Renown, possessing considerable reserve speed, will make up the time on the voyage to New Zealand, permitting the original dates of the tour to stand.

RENOWN’S INFLUENZA. (Received This Dav at 8 a.m.) LONDON, March 10.

There are no fresh cases of influenza on the Renown. No decision has been arrived at regarding sailing, hut *}> * s expected to take place op Saturday.
