(Easter holidays). ■ One of the oldest residents of the Moana district, Mrs Charles Adler, died at the Grey River Hospital on Saturday immediately after being admitted. She had an internal complaint some little time, but the end came suddenly. The late Mrs Adler who is. survived by her husband, a son and two daughters, was sixty years of iigc. Last week’s Otago Witness records ' the death on February 28th of Joseph George Cuttance second s°n of Mr and i Mrs Harry Cuttance of Nrurua, at the early age of 21 years. The deceas- ' ed was a' native of Okuru, South Westland, and removed with his parents, some years ago, into the Halelutha district where the family have resided ! ever since. The news of liis death will come a 8 a great shqek V<» his many friends in South Westland, as lie. was always looked upon as a strapping, ro_ bust youth. The deceased i s a nephew ’ of Mr Jos. Cuttance, Okuru, and a grand son of Airs Nisson, Hokitika.
