B Grade Competition—Waterside Workers’ Band (Wellington), . 260 points, 1; Auckland City Band, 244 points, 2; 9th (Hawkes’s Bay) Regimental Band, 242 points, 3 ; Dannevirke Municipal Band, 240 points, 4. These marks are for the two sections of the competition. The other competitors were :—-Ist (Canterbury) Regimental Band, 225 points; Christchurch Tramways Band, 224 points; Winton Municipal Band, 196 points; G.E.M.S. Band (Christchurch), 130 points.
