After the threatening aspect of last evening the weather this morning was beautifully fine for the opening of the Rifle Championship meeting. Four hundred competitors were briefly addressed bv Col. Collins, Chief Executive Officer,, whose congratulations of the Bisle.v champion, Sergt. Leslie Lovednr, evoked hearty cheers. A start was then made with service series, the first match being a classification practice. It is hoped, if the weather holds fine, the meeting may conclude
