On Wednesday evening Pauline Starke supported by Belle Bennett and Harry Meystayer will be featured in “The Atom” the story of a little drudge who was just an atom in the vast scheme when her‘lonely soul hungered for life and love. The story is woven round the loves of a theatre matinee idol and a big theatre fire. Saved from the fire by the atom and again saved fiom himself when lie sees his disfigurement through the fire. She stayed with him all night. Then came the dawn and scandal and from this springs a very fine play with an appeal and a human touch that can only please. The “Light ning Raider” and an educational fdm supports the star picture..

MCLEAN’S PICTURES.

TO-NIGHT! TO-NIGHT! McLean’s Pictures this evening will consist of a programme of particular pleasure. First comes a special English star picture founded on the famous book and play by Tom Gallon—- “ Molly Bawn.” The book is wellknown for the bright story it is, and Allah Doone has. made the spoken j.lay very popular. In the screen-play appears Alma Taylor, the dainty English actress who is known as the English Mary Pickford. The story is of a' charming girl who won the affection of j a hard hearted miser in spite of opposi- | tion and lies.

The second feature play of the evening, or Star No. 2 is a 5-act Paramount “Fuss and Feathers” featuring *,Euid Bennett. In the big city home—a place where wealth looked down on poverty with disdain, and where spite and beauty battled with each other, this girl has been forced into a strange swirl of events She had been sent to the city to he educated, and had fallen into the hands of a gentleman, who had his own idea si of how a pretty girl should be educated. Now she was faced with the crisis of her life.
