BOXING.

The Hokitika Boxing Association are. once again to the, fore and are putting on one of the best boxing contests possible in New Zealand. The match is be- , tween Frank O’Neil, of Runanga, and Gns Venn, of Auckland. The fight will take place on Tuesday evening, April 6th. The preliminary will be probably between Harry Long and Joe Gravey. The winner of the O’Neil-Venn fight will meet Havillia Uren of Australia the following month. It will be remembered that Gns Venn defeated Peter Cook six weeks ago and also defeated Len Robinson and Billy Olliver within three days, and will prove a hard nut for O’Neil to crack.
