Th« "Daily Chroni)cle” states the new Home Rule Bili will abandon the idea, of county option, and wijl substitute a ‘lent’’ of six Ulster counties, from the rest of Ireland and from the operations of Hontp Rule.
FIRST 'READING- BEFORE PARLIAMENT. LONDON, February 26. In the House of Commons the Home Rule Bill was officially described as a "Bill, for the better Government 'of Ireland.” It was formally presented this afternoon and was read a first time.
The text of the Bill will not be Published till to-morrow, or Friday. Tliis is iiwaited with some impatience by politicians as certain points are still obscure especially the geographical extent of the territory the Government proposes to place under a separate Ulster l’arli >"'cnt. It i« understood the Cabinet only arrived at its final conclusion on ’this point last night.
