THE WAR TRIALS
AN AUTHORITATIVE STATEMENT.
(Received This Day at 11.20. a.m.) LjONDON, Feb. 23.
In the Commons, Mr Bonar Law replying to Mr Hume Williams, said no I alteration had been made in the provisI ion of the Peace Treaty for the trial of the war prisoners. He confirmed the. announcement that the Allies had decided to postpone temporarily the immediate execution of the provisions. He asserted in the House the Allies intended to make certain that all evidence brought for the prosecution was that properly put before the Court, and he added ,Leipzig had been suggested as the venue for the convention.
