*mnDBA FAT STOPS SALE. The usual fat stock fixture at the above yards was held yesterday when 33 head of' cattle were penned. The quality of all was good and competition was keen for the sale. Ox beef made from 46/- to 48/- per hundred, heifer beef being a shade under that figure.
-Messrs Jeffries and Co. sold as follows : On account Mr Geo. Linkiater, one bullock at £l4/5/-, 1 at £l4, 1 at .£l3/17/6, 1 at £ll/7/6; On account Mr H. J Juki a ter, 1 bullock at £ll, 3 at £9/17/8, 2 heifers at £ll/10/-, 3 at £ll/2/6, 4 at £lO/12/6, 3 at £9/10/-, 2 at £9/7/6, one at £ll, one at-£5/o/-, On account Mr H. Monk, 2 bullocks at £l4/5/-, 2 at £l4, 2 at £l2/15/-, one cow at £ll/5/-, one at £7, 2 at £6.
