HOKITIKA VERSUS GREYMOUTH. ■ On Saturday afternoon the Grey- I mouth tennis team journeyed to Hoki- g tika to play a return match with the local team. The weather being fine, a | large number of tennis enthusiasts g turned out to see the contest, and every- ■ body was pleased at the high standard g of tennis. The feature of the afternoon g was a spirited contest between Rundle of Grey mouth and Gooch of Hokitika, g Both played a brilliant game, and after g a fine exhibition Gooch won 9—5. Every set was keenly contested and on g the final’count Hokitika only lead by 12 g games.
