THUS I'RINCE SAILING. LONDON, February 18. H.'M.S. Renown, carrying the Prince of Wales is departing from Portsmouth on Monday fortnight, the 9th of March next. She will arrive at Barbadoes on ■ -the 19th March, at Colon on 23rd. March, at Panama 24th March, at Sandiego 31st March, at Honolulu on 6th of April, at Fiji on 13th of April and at Auckland on the 17th. of April-
A RACE MEETING. AUCKLAND, February 20
Following upon a communication from the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Auckland Racing Club has decided to hold a one day race meeting ,bn. April 19th, on the occasion of the visit of the Prince of Wales. The programme will comprise six events, and the stakes will total £4OOO. The Prince of Wales Cup of II miles will be worth £I3OO, and the Royal Steeplechase will be worth £6OO.
REMEMBERING THE CHILDREN. FEILDING, February 20.
A representative meeting in Feilding decided that Feilding and district local bodies should present a loyal address, conjointly, to the Prince of Wales, when passing "through Feilding, tHe day to be declared a public holiday for tlie children who are to be provided with refreshments and a sports gathering if possible.
