WEDDING BELLS.

DEE—NOONAN

A pretty wedding took place at the Roman Catholic Cathedral, Barbndoes street, on February 4tli, when Aliss Johanna (Annie) Noonan, youngest daughter of Air and Airs E. Nconan, of Lower Ricearton, was married to Patrick Joseph Dee, sixth son of Airs Dee, and the late Patrick Deo, of Hokitika. The Rev Father Murphy officiated, and celebrated the nuptial mass. The bride who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful wedding gown of palest cream georgette, the bodice of which was daintily trimmed with pearls and shadow lace, and the overskirt being finished with a silk fringe. She wore a tulle veil handsomely embroidered with harps and shamrocks, and a wreath of orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of white carnations, roses, and fern, with wiiite ribbon streamers. | The bride was attended by Aliss Alolly Dee (sister of the bridegroom), who wore a dress of pale pink silk prettily embroidered, and a hat of cream georgette trimmed and lined with pale pink. SJie also carried a bouquet of white flowers and fern with pink ribbon streamers. Air Aliclme! Noonan (brother of the bride) acted as best man. After the ceremony, Air and Airs Noonan entertained a number of guests at a dainty wedding breakfast at Broadway’s. The happy couple left for the South, where the honeymoon will be spent, the bride travelling in a green costume, trimmed with maize, and a vieux rose hat.
