| IT.I! I’UF.RS ASSOCIATION. COPYRIGHT.")' PAY’S REPORT. WELLINGTON, February 12. During the twenty-four hours ended noon to-day, 57 fresh cases of influenza were reported in Wellington district. They ii/oiuded 19 from Wellington City, and 15 from Palmerston North. Tliese figures show a decrease of 35 compared yrith return for previous day when 92 eases were reported. The District Health Officer (Dr Paris) says that from noon on February 9th and noon of February 12, and during those three days, the total number of cases reported throughout the Dominion was 639. Of these 616 were mild, nine pneumonic, and 14 severe. ! AUCKLAND CASKS DECREASING. , AUCKLAND, Feb. 10. A substantial decrease occurred in the number of influenza eases notified during the 24 hours ended at noon today. The eases reported numbered 22, of which three were diagonised as severe. In .the city area there were 14 mild eases sij.id one severe case, and in the suburbs three mild and two severe, the schools will reopen in about n fortnight.
