presiding, The miputes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, and outward correspondence was approved, INWARD CORRESPONDENCE.

Several farmers of Waitaha wrote asking for a reduction of motor lorry freight to that district. It was resolved to reduce the freight from Ross to Waitaha from 30/- to 25/- per ton. It was resolved to place a standing order for benzine. The question of Hiring the uioto: lorry to a local carrier „ was left in the hands of the Managing Director, Mr Thompson and jtlie Secretary with

power to act. The Managing Director reported on the progress of development work and anticipated the completion of I'Urhipe, Cpusher and Pulveriser within five wgcks.
