(Received this day at 8.40 a,m.) r l'he 'English Lawn Tennis Association informed United States National Lawn Tennis ‘ Association that the proposed American changes in tenuis rules would be better delayed until the American body had decided whether the.' wid join the International Federation which will be entrusted with the determination of international rules. The English Association further states that in the event of United States changing the rules she would be seriously handicapped when playing off the Davis Cup tie. The English Association added that it could not approve of many of the proposed American changes,.-includ-ing those relating to foot faulting, scoring and handicapping.-*
