POLLARD’S PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. At tilt Princess Theatre to-night Pollard’s present Claire Anderson in the clever coinedy Drama “The Mask” also 17th. Chapter of the Houso of Hate. In “The Mask”, the Triangle picture, starring Claire [Anderson, the story deals with the effects of sudden wealth on a young girl whose mental balance is perhaps not quite strong enough to withstand it. Claire Anderson in the role of Sally is bewitching, dainty, vL vaeious and spirited, and contributes very largely to the success of a charming comedy drama. Human failings and frailties are pictured Ti the most whimsical and delightful; manner in this story of too much money and pretense. Limousines, luxury and titles abound in an atmosphere of social snobbery, and the unravelling of serious complications makes a fascinating entertainment served up at a brisk pace and without a slow movement in it. Included in the programme tonight is a very clever nature study of animal life also 17th episode of the popular serial, “The House of Hate.”
