AMUSEMENTS.
MICKEY TO-NIGHT,
Mack Sennett’s first big special suj per-picture “Mickey,” with Mabel Norf inat| d in the title role is claimed to be i superior -to “The Whip,” “Sporting Lite'’ and other Drury Lane successes as solid gold is to gold plate. Audiences will grasp at the magnitude, be thrilled by the sensations which include a mile and a quarter race, a stand up fight in good old Anglo-Saxon style, and a race between a motor car and an express train, that fairly makes the hair stand on end. They will also stifle a sob at a motherless child’s devotion for her father, and they will simply scream with laughter at Mickey’s “Normandesque” stunts. The ensemble is rich in everything that is necessary for a super production. “Mickey” will stand out in film history as one of the real masterpieces of the times. The play is in eight superlative acts, lasting just over two hours, and it is claimed there is not a moment of let up from start to finish. Prices— Circle 2s Id, Stalls Is Id, children half-price. Pollards’ will also screen the third chapter of “The Lightning Raiders.”
