A crisis is imminent owing to Germany’s failure, after warnings to deliver specified quantities of coal, and also the. intention to resist the surrender of the war criminate. The Conference of Ambassadors is considering the impasse and drew up the text of a forma! demand relating to the criminals, which will be handed to Von Leisner to-morrow.
“Le Temps” says the Germans are determined to elude successively every treaty .stipulation, safeguarding repatriations, pending a moment offering the chance to scrap the whole treaty.
