[PEE PHfSSS ASSOCIATION.—COFTEIGHT.j QUARANTINE REVIVED. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 29. The Public Health Department is issuing an order that ali -scholars arriving from- the North Island to- attend boarding -schools in this island are to be quarantined at their schools for fortyeight hours before being allowed to mix in classes or otherwise with the local scholars. NELSON, Jan. 29. At the request of the Public Health Department, the re-openiug of the NeL son Boys’ and Girls’ Colleges and of schools in the Nelson Education Board s district have been postponed for one week.

WELLINGTON, Jan. 29. ‘ Reports from other places show no fewer than 173 cases of influenza were reported last week up to Monday) in Wellington district, an increase of about- 40 on the previous week.
