British troops now in Caucasus will be withdrawn. A LOOTING ATTACK. (Received this day at 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 23. Advices from North Russia state tint a North Russian communique says that thousand Finns, with mac line guns, horse and reindeer transport, are attacking the famous monastry at Petchenga with the evident intention of looting the great treasures. The- inhabitants of the neighbouring villages are fleeing, panic stricken.

Seminoff remains at Chita like a cork tossed on waves. He has proclaimed himself supreme ruler of eastern Russia.
