STEAMER DISASTER. LONDON, Jan. 10.
Wild weather continues around the Coast. The Treval a four thousand ton cargo steamer from Calcutta, stranded in the gale off Weymouth and broke up. Seven of the crew, in a life boat were cast ashore exhausted, and twenty corpses are stranded. It is believed thirteen others are drowned.
ATLANTIC LINER LOST. BY STRIKING MINE. BENOA, January 10. An unconfirmed report states the liner Princess Mafalda, from America, struck a floating mine and is lost. PARIS', January 12. Later news shows that there were seven hundred people aboard the steamer Princess Mafalda. She was hound from the Argentine to Genoa. The latest reports state the vessel was mined, and lost with all hands. These reports are not yet confirmed.
