REEFTON TROTS. SATURDAY’S RESULTS. [PEB FBESB ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.] REEFTON, Jan. 10. For the Reefton Trots to-day the wieatlier was fine, though overcast. There was a large attendance. The tote handled £6,986, an increase equal to over double the amount for the last (1917) meeting. Results:— WelcomJe Handicap.—Young Ivy 1, Rita Rose 2 Princess Huon 3. Also started:—Traoey Dillon, Foxglove. Won very easily. Time 2.36 4-5. Progress Handicap.—Culverden 1, Arran Lad 2, Marvolo 3. Also Started —lnquisitive, Rose Tracey, Colintraive, and Wireless. Won very easily. Time 3.45!-.
Inangahua Trotting Club Handicap. —Voter 1, Wee Winnie 2, Osier 3. Also Htartad:—Palmdale, Marietta, Miss Marion, Orange Pippin. A fine finish. Won by three quarters of a length. Blackwater Handicap.—Ruth Hall 1, Tracey Dillon 2, Rose Tractey 3. Also started:—Princess Huon. Won easily. Time 4.0 3-5.
Electric Handicap.—Marvolo 1, Voter 2, Harold Hue 3. Ako ran. Palmdale, and Buck’s Head- Won by three lengths. Time 3.43 4-5. Inglewood Handicap.—Captain Wood burn 1, Wee Winnie 2, Henry Tracey 3. Also started:— Peony, Orange Pippin, and Agasenis. A great finish. Won by a neck. Time 3.4 1-5. Big River Handicap.—Osier 1, Colintraivo 2, Rose Tracey 3. Also started. Inquisitve and Culverden. Won by two lengths. Timo 5.7 1-5. Koep-it-Dark Handicap^—Tho Monkey 1, Rita Rye 2, Myrtle Leaf 3. Six others started. Time 2.28!.
