EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
MAKING THE PREPARATIONS

The preliminaries of the British .Empire Exhibition to be held in 1921, will soon be completed. The exhibition will probably be held at ' Regents ~ Park. The Imperial, Dominions and Colonial Governments have expressed approval of j,hp undertaking which wil l Tie op a yaat scale, involving a tremendous organisation which will be set in operation at the earliest moment. The Duke of Argyle has accepted the Presidency; Hon. Lloyd George Is President of the Grand Council, and other members of Cabinot and distinguished persons will he vice-presidents. The Council of the Overseas section includes Messrs Hughes and Massey. Sir John Tavern (Secretary), in an interview, says the exhibition will be the biggest tiling ever seen in Britain, and it is scheduled to last six months, and will possibly two years. It may even develop into a permanent showroom for an Imperial Council of Commerce.
