Senator King has announced that as the result of the negotiations on the Treaty, it has proved impossible to secure a ratifiation of the Peace Treaty. He says that changes ill the Treaty cannot be made such as will alter the Treaty meaning. He agrees that if there are doubts about the American peoples' real wishes as to the Treaty, these doubts should be made the issue at the next election.
