ifm. i-Htas association.— oor*aiuur.i V.C. HONORED. FEILDING, Jan. 8. Lt-Coinmander Bourke, V.C., on his arrival here to-day on a lecturing tour, was given a civic reception. The band turned out and flags were flying. The Mayor (Mr Harford), offered a welcome to the representative of the British Navy which Lt-Coinmander Bourke gratefully asknowledged.

THE MISSING FOUND. WELLINGTON, This Day. The police last night received information that a party which was missing on Tararara Mountain track had been found by Const. Mclntosh and Mr Webster of Greytown. Very few details are given. It appears the two ladies (of whom Miss Louise Mack was one) and a gentleman were discovered at 8 a.m. yesterday at Mount Alpa. They were in a famishing condition and had spent three nights without cover. They had reached Mount Alpa hut at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Their condition was so bad that they could not walk. They wore brought on horses to Waioliite Gully where the telephone was used to summon a motor car from Greytown. The car was sent out and its return was expected in Greytown last evening.

PARTY. SAFE. (WELLINGTON, This Day. A. telegram from Greytown states Louiso Mack and party arrived at Greytown last night. The ladies were slightly fatigued, but otherwise are well. They are leaving by motor for Otaki to-day. HOME SERVICE CERTIFICATES. WELLINGTON, January 8.

The military authorities recently offered prizes for the best designs for homo service certificates. Along with many of no great merit, they received two well worthy of awards. These were submitted by A. Humphrey (Mt Albert, Auckland)', and J. W- Blaokie (Government Printing Office, Wellington). Humphrey wins a £25 prize and Blackie a £lO prize. No other prizos are to be awarded.

N. Z. SUPPLIES. WELLINGTON, Jan. 8. The Imperial Supplies Department for New Zealand paid to December 31st last a sum of £118,353,903, to N.Z. producers-; on account of their produce bought. The largest items are : Wool, £42,322,697. Freezing Ooy’s slipo wool £5,361,663, Frozen meat, £41,579,105. Cheese, £16,554,756. Butter, £6,815,107. Scheelito, £174,197. Sheepskins £2,358,305. Hides £73,663. Other items £1,735,836.
