McLEAN’S PICTURES.
OPERA HOUSE WEDNESDAY. j On Wednesday evening Mr McLean presents a fine sporting programme head ed by America’s foremost actress Elbe Barrymore in ‘Our Mrs McCliesney,” It is a business romance, filled with action, brilliance and heart interest. It is a screen version of the famous “Emma McCliesney,” story by Edna Ferber. Buck Company, manufacturing ‘‘Feather loom” petticoats, Emma McCliesney brings lasting success to the firm, wresting victory from defeat when bankruptcy seems inevitable. How she makes a man of her son, Jack, and how ber own life’s happiness is finally attained, are incidents in a story that is a delight from start to finish. You can’t afford to miss “Our Mrs'McsChesuey.”
