A LEAKING SCHOONER. (Received this’day at 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 3.

The schooner Hudderfield, not Hungerfield, which sailed for Gisborne yesterday, put back to-day in a leaking condition. The leak is confined to the topside. The Hudderfield is a new vessel and will be overhauled before resailing.

INDENTURED INDIAN LABOUR. ENDED IN FIJI. •SUVA, January 3. An important reform has just been i instituted here in'regard to indentured labourers. The indentures of all the Indian immigrants in Fiji have been cancelled. The Fiji Government made the cancellation yesterday. The step was taken on the advice of the Council of Planters of Fiji.
