Dr Ross (scr.) 74 was the winner. The score is a record for the course G. B. Barnett 77, was runner-up.
This morning a medal handicap, 18 holes, was won by liaggitt, with a score of 84-8-76, C. B. Wright being runner-up with 70-1-78. Ike latter won the Medal Handicap in the afternoon, with a score of 78-1-77, .0. T. Irvine. 80-10-70, being second. The Inter-club match resulted: Otago GOO, St Clair 699. MANAWATU OTT'AMPtONSIIjP. PALMERSTON N., January 1. The Manawatu Gold Club’s Summer Championship was won by Walter Seifert, 86-78-82-81-327. Dr Gil ray (Named), E. G. Sim, and 11. L. Young tied for second place, each scoring, 332.
