The injured boy was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital in a rather serious condition.

The body of the man found yesterday afternoon on the beach near Highcliffe has been identified as that of William Scarlet, whp escaped from the Asbburn Alentnl Hospital qn Npvpfnber 17th. A body supposed to be his was seen m the sea on November 19th, aiul a message was found indicating that he contemplatecl suicide. A verdict was returned that deceased committed suicide A drowning on the date mentioned while of unsound mind.
