POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS.
CHRISTMAS DAY. TIIURDAY, 25th. DECEMBER, 1919. The Post Office will be c uosed in all jjiiauchies ion ‘Christmas Day. Mails for Greyniouth and Christchurch (including overland) will close at 8 p.m. the previous evening (Wednesday), the town receivers being cleared at 7 p.m. All other mails usually despatched on Thursday will be suspended. There will be a delivery oyer the 'counter bjy Postmen on Wednesday evening from 7.30. to 8.30. p.m. Telegraph Office open from 10 to 10.30 a.m., and sto 5.30. p.m. Telephone Exchange, 9-10 a.m. and 5-6 p.m. , BOXING DAY. ' ' 26th. DECEMBER. The Post Office will be open in all branches except Money Order and Savings Bank, from 9 to 10 a.m. Mails for Greymouth line, also Christchurch (overland) will close at 5.30. a.m. All other mails usually despatched on Friday will close at 8 a.m. Town posting boxes cleared at 5.30. a.m. Telegraph Office open, 9 to 10 a.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. Telephone Exchange, 8 a.in. to 10 p.m.
NEW YEAR’S DAY. THURSDAY, Ist JANUARY. 'Pile Post Office will be closed in all branches. Mails for Greymoutli and Christchurch etc (overland) close at 8 p.m., the previous evening, (Wednesday). Town receivers cleared at 7 p.m. All other mails usually despatched on Thursday will be suspended. There will be a delivery over the Public Counter by the Postmen between 7.30. and 8.30. p.m.' on Wednesday. Telegraph Office open 9 to 11 a.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. Telephone Exchange 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
