fPEH PRESS ASSOCIATION OOPYBIGET-l A MURDER, CHARGE. AUCKLAND, Dec. 17. At tlie Police Court, Harold Stapleton 20 years of age, and Alexander Coppell, 21 years, were charged with the murder of Frank Brasier, licensee of Clarendon Hotel. Mr Singer for accused asked for bail, and said Brasier was interfering with one of the accused men in a bedroom. The man', called to his mate for assistance. There was a struggle in the dark with the result that Brasier was knocked, down and the injury which caused the death was caused by him falling. Tho Magistrate said he had ordered a post mortem to get evidence on this point. Meanwhile he would not allow bail. ELECTROCUTED.- ‘ AUCKLAND, Dec. 17. A telegraph linesman named Alexander Anderson, while at work on a ladder at Eden Terrace came into contact with a high tension wire and was killed instantly. His companion on whom lie fell was slightly injured.
