GERMANY WITHIN
r AUSTRALIAN N.Z. CARI.fi ASSOCIATION/ GERMAN CONCENTRATIONS BERLIN, Dec. 14. Large concentrations of returned Baltic Soldiers in East and "West Prussia,' are arousing suspicion. The unofficial German Gazette says Governpient are complying with thb local demand to maintain the frontier defence, but in some quarters the concentrations are regarded as dangerous. It is suggested that Government is yielding to the maehinatios and the militarists including Von der Golt, and Hoffon, who are planning a revolt designed to begin in East Prussia, where the peasants are secretly armed. Troops from the Baltic i were recently urged to regard it as their duty to restore the old order in Germany. The “Times” Warsaw correspondent estimates the Prussian concentrations at eighty thousand regulars and fifteen thousand other classes. The strongest force is at IBromberg and Thorn in Upper Silesia.
