(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.! A POLICEMAN SHOT. DUBLIN, Dec. 2. Barton’s was the fourteenth police murder during 1919. He was young and popular and was recently transferred to the political section of the detective force. It is believed the murderer tracked him through the crowded streets towards the central police station whither Barton was proceeding and fired fonr shots in College Street, one penetrating his back.
