SUDDEN DEATHS. ASHBURTON, This Day. Walter Hass, aged 68, employed by Air Watson of Springfield, was found dead in bed this morning. Towards the close of the Ho;.. R. H. Rhodes' address at Methven last evening,' a local resident, W. Morrell aged 70, collapsed and died almost immedflately. He had been subject to heart attacks for some time. in "the air: CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Yesterda in a military aeroplane Captain Isitt made a New Zealand altitude record of 21,000 feet. The previous record did not exceed 10,000 feet.
