GENERAL ELECTION.
MR SEDDON AT WATAROA. Mr T. E. Y. Seddon motored into South Westland yesterday, and readied Wataroa for his evening meeting. He had a splendid meeting in the WaitangiWataroa hall, over which Mr George Northcroft presided. Mr Seddon’s political address was well received, and at its close Mr Thomas Mcßride moved and Mr Robert Adamson seconded a vote of thanks and confidence in Mr Seddon. Mr W. H. Chinn also made an appreciative reference to Mr Seddon’s work. The vote was carried amid enthusiastic applause. At mid-day to-day Mr Seddon was to meet the residents of Okarito, and tonight at the Thomson Memorial Hall, Waiho Gorge, wifi address the settlers of that locality. Several residents from south of the Waiho river are proceeding up to the meeting, which promises to be a very representative gathering. Mr Seddon returns to Hari Hari tomorrow, and will speak there at night. He will rest at Hari Hari over Sunday, and on Monday move north to Waitalia and Fergusons, reaching Hokitika the following afternoon.
