UNION COMPANY’S LINE.
The Kowhai and Poherua have been , detained at .Greymouth by the heavy sea on the bar, the former is timberladen for Wellington and the latter coal-laden for Gisborne and Napier, sailing as soon as the sea moderates. The Kahika leaves Greymouth. at midnight for Lyttelton with coal, timber and general cargo. The Kakapo is due at Greymouth on Saturday morning from Auckland, to load coal for Oamaru and Dunedin, sailing the same night. The Karamu is due at Greymouth today from Wellington to load timbei for Lyttelton. The Kamo leaves Wellington at 5 ! p.m. to-day, arriving at Greymouth to- | morrow night to load coal, timber an J general cargo for the same port.
