1 PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY’S RESOLUTION. It is clear to tbe Assembly, however, that 3 h the feeling for union in this church if not yet sufficiently widespread tt rn justify an immediate effort to open ui negotiations witli the other tw< jl churches, and the Assembly resolve: to postpone deoislon on the point en meanwhile reappointing the Cliurcl Union Compiittee, with instructions t< B n watch and report on all relevant do velopments to the Assembly, and t< ■o- take steps to promote co-operatioi with the two churches, and, further j) i n the evont of the Congregationa Union offering any new proposals ti en consider them and in due course to sub mit them to the General Assembly.
