At th e inter-state Tennis Tournament here, the men’s matches were won by Victoria, whose players defeated New South Wales by 247 to 230, and South Australia by 194 to 179. In the Ladies games, New South Wales defeated Victoria by 142 tq 9s, wlijje Victoria defeated Souh Australia by Ilf to IS. Brookes and Patterson won every set against the three New South Wales teams.
