POLLARD’S PICTURE. TO-NIGHT! TONIGHT! This evening, Pollards present a delightfully well-told story of child life with a grown-up love interest. “Neighbours” starring Madge Evans, (the darling of a million hearts), w:th Johnny Hines and Violet Palmer. The boy with the fascinating grin, and the girl with whom lig is in lov-=>. She’s beautiful. Madge Evans 's f.s captivating as usual, and it is easily the best picture she has appeared in ! The ! prize for skating was to go to the most; original costume. Madge’s costume was the most amazingly original thing ever dreamed of. Th e serious side of the picture centres round the fact I hat Madge is accused of stealing. The :n----terest is intense, the plot is • perfectly devised and the settings arc excellent. The supports include the sixth Chanter of the serial “The House of Hate.” MCLEAN’S PICTURES, —-• i OPERA HOUSE FRIDAY. J Mr McLean presents on. Friday even- . ing Douglas Fairbanks, the favourite j athletic comedian in the latest Artcraft ! producion, “Reaching for the Moon.” , As the King of Vulgaria he learns that the royal road is a rocky one. He is he set at every turn by assassins, who constantly hatch plots against him. Terrific encounters ensue, and he escapes with his life, only by virtue of his physical prowess. “Reaching for the Moon” will lift, you out of your seat. The other main features on the programme is the best of the Mack Sennett comedies entitled “Whose Little Wife are You?” The supporting items include “The Eegle’s Eye” and the latest Gazette. “Whose Little Wife are You?” is a aTeaminjji Mack Sennett featuring Teddy the do|£ T’epper the cat, the lobster, the girls, and the whole remaining Mack Sennett cast.
