The militaristic spirit is reviving here There was; a scene at a public meeting held to support the League of Nations, wdiereat Herr Erzberger, (National Treasurer), was the principal speaker. The meeting was broken up by a hostile crow r d, which stormed the hall and took possession. Another meeting which follow'ed terminated with the singing of “Doutchland Über Alles” the crowd abusing Herr Erzberger and-the Jews. There is a great outburst of militarist enthusiasm. Thousands of students and others stormed and cheered Hindenburg andl Ludendorff when en route to the Responsibilities Committee.
