The attorney for some distillery Interests at Louisville, Kentucky, has won another victory in the fight on the question of wartime prohibition. A Federal Court Judge has announced it as. his belief that the law was not constitutional. It is now proposed to seek the issuo of an injunction resraining the Government from interferring with the sale of all liquor that has paid tax.

Tlie steamer Runnels was pounded to pieces during a Great Lakes storm. ( Anderson life-saving station rescued thirteen of the crew although the buoy froze to the rigging and the boats overturned. Other steamers are missing.
