Sir Joseph Ward is unquestionably one. If Sir Joseph Ward were lost to Parliament the whole pres® of the pountry —Reform and Liberal—would refer to the loss as a national one, and the Reform Party might well have given Sir Joseph Ward clear run in his constituency.
