The Labour Party, said Mr Fraser, believed that there could be no real settlement of the coal trouble short of the nationalisation of the miners. A State medical service was one of the most important propsoals before the people. The doctors should be working for social service and not profit. He hoped that the people would be roused to abolish the nominated Legislative Council. > A vote of thanks and confidence in Mr Fraser was carried unanimously.
