Messrs M. Houston and Co. report : , We held a' sale of store cattle at Kokatahi Yards yesterday, when 150 head were submitted to competition. There was a good attendance of buyers and the hulk of the yarding was cleared at satisfactory prices. Owing to the flooded rivers one or two vendors were unnblo to bring their full entries. ! We sold 13 steers, 2-yr. old at £9 12s Gd, on account A. and T. Meharry; 10 4-yr steers) at £ll 18s, 12 2*-yr. steers at £B’ Is, 13 at £7 2s Gd, 2 vealers at . £4, 5 2-1-yr steers at £5 4s 6d, 8 heifers , at £4 17s 6d, 1 steer at £8 ss, for Mrs Ryan and J.
